AIRAC 2611: Navigation Data update for X-Plane and XPFlightPlanner

AIRAC cycle 2611, effective October 29, 2026, brings updated navigation data for your next simulated flight. With XPNavData, you can use the same cycle in XPFlightPlanner, X-Plane 12, and X-Plane 11, keeping your flight planning and simulator navigation databases in sync.

What’s changed since AIRAC 2610?

This cycle includes additions, removals, and updates across the navigation database:

The totals include added, removed, and modified procedure entries. If your next route involves one of these airports, review your departure and arrival selections after importing the new cycle.

Keep your flight planner and simulator in sync

Using the same AIRAC cycle in XPFlightPlanner and X-Plane helps keep waypoints, airways, and procedures consistent between the route you plan and the flight you load into the simulator.

After updating, check any saved flight plans you intend to reuse. Changes to navigation data can affect previously selected routes and procedures.

How to update

  1. Close XPFlightPlanner and X-Plane, then back up your existing X-Plane Custom Data folder.
  2. Install the XPNavData files directly into that folder, following the installation guide.
  3. Open XPFlightPlanner and select Edit → Database Dialog.
  4. Confirm your X-Plane installation path, enable Use Custom Data, and import the updated database.
  5. Start X-Plane to use the newly installed navigation data.

For complete instructions, follow our AIRAC update tutorial.
