Update X-Plane to AIRAC 2610
XPNavData provides a complete worldwide navigation database based on professional-grade aeronautical data from KEYVAN Aviation.
AIRAC 2610 includes updated:
- Airports and runways
- Navigation aids and waypoints
- ATS routes and airways
- SID procedures
- STAR procedures
- Instrument approaches
- Airspace information
Keeping your navigation database current is particularly useful when flying online with VATSIM or IVAO, where routes and procedures are generally based on the current AIRAC cycle.
Improved Instrument Approach Data
AIRAC 2610 includes an improvement to the processing of instrument approach data for X-Plane.
Approaches with multiple transitions are now handled more accurately, so they appear as a single approach entry in the aircraft FMS, with all available transitions grouped correctly.
The screenshot below shows the LFLC approaches in the FMC with AIRAC 2610, where each approach is now listed only once with its corresponding transitions.
This improvement was made thanks to valuable feedback and analysis from the X-Plane community.
Keep XPFlightPlanner and X-Plane Synchronized
If you use XPFlightPlanner, you can use the same AIRAC 2610 database for both flight planning and your simulator.
After installing XPNavData in X-Plane’s Custom Data folder:
- Open XPFlightPlanner.
- Select Edit → Select navigation database.
- Enable Use custom data.
- Select Import from X-Plane.
XPFlightPlanner will import the AIRAC 2610 navigation database from your X-Plane installation.
Using the same database in your flight planner, simulator and aircraft FMS helps prevent discrepancies such as missing waypoints, different airway definitions or unavailable SID, STAR and approach procedures.
Easy Installation
XPNavData is available for both X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 11.
Simply download the package corresponding to your X-Plane version and install it in the simulator’s Custom Data folder. X-Plane will automatically detect the new AIRAC cycle when it starts.
