AIRAC 2609 is now available for X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 11 with XPNavData.

Update X-Plane to AIRAC 2609
XPNavData provides updated navigation data that can be installed directly into the Custom Data folder of X-Plane.
AIRAC 2609 includes updated:
- Airports
- Navigation aids and waypoints
- Airways
- SID procedures
- STAR procedures
- Instrument approaches
Once installed, the updated data can be used directly by X-Plane and by compatible aircraft and flight-planning tools.
Compatible with XPFlightPlanner
If you use XPFlightPlanner, you can also import the AIRAC 2609 database from your X-Plane installation.
This makes it possible to plan your route using the same navigation database as your simulator, helping to avoid differences between the procedures available in XPFlightPlanner and those available in your aircraft’s FMS.
After installing XPNavData, simply select your X-Plane installation as the navigation database source in XPFlightPlanner and import the updated Custom Data.
No Subscription Required
XPNavData does not require a subscription.
Each AIRAC cycle can be purchased individually, so you can update your navigation database whenever you need a newer cycle without committing to a monthly or yearly subscription.
This can be particularly useful if you mainly fly offline or only need current navigation data from time to time.
How to Install AIRAC 2609
Installing XPNavData is straightforward:
- Download the AIRAC 2609 package corresponding to your version of X-Plane.
- Open the Custom Data folder inside your X-Plane installation.
- Install the XPNavData files into this folder.
- Start X-Plane and verify that AIRAC 2609 is detected.
If you are also using XPFlightPlanner, you can then import the updated navigation database from X-Plane.
